The Referendum result has had ramifications regarding Ryanair. They have announced today that they will be moving their hub airports back to the continent.
I wonder what effect this will have on the number of flights from Stansted to Lamezia?
I am also sure that the cost of flights will rise as the GBP to the Euro has dropped 10% or more being around the 1.2 - 1.18 range at the moment.
With the price of fuel beginning to rise it's going to be more expensive and possibly increasingly difficult to fly Calabria.

I am pretty sure profitable routes such as STN -SUF will continue, albeit with a reduced capacity in the Winter. If fares increase , they will increase on all flights out of UK. He won't single you out particularly !
More worrying is keeping the whole Aviation agreement with the EU after Brexit. A minefield all its own I believe.

Rumours are circulating that Ryanair are in new talks with Almeria Airport. Some new Winter routes would be nice.

Alexmensi,
You post many irrelevant postings which I have deleted.
Try to confine your postings to matters relating to Italy and Calabria only.

Grumpy
He may well do that but Cantabria is in the north east of Spain and Al Meria which he mentioned earlier is found on the south east coast of Spain!

Not to make light of the potential disasters that await as we proceed along the Brexit road, I think the idea the UK could be cut-off from Europe for any period of time just won't be allowed to happen. It would hurt the EU Countries every bit as much as the UK if not more. There are much greater risks and uncertainties that could impact very badly on the UK. The Financial Services sector being my main concern.

It's all speculation at the moment, so I console you with the words often used by the Brexiteers during their Campaign - Hope and Optimism. Every gambler has those sentiments in abundance and boy, have we taken a big gamble...
